another hot day

Its difficult to believe.....but I think we are almost in a drought! my poor garden is wilting in the dry, and some plants are just not coping.
Maybe its a good day to dismantle the Christmas tree, pack away all the decos until next year, and pack the car to have a few days at the beach!

Christmas

What a lovely Christmas! We had a beautifully decorated tree, by younger daughter, some artfully wrapped pressies by older daughter, and lots of handcrafted pressies to open on Christmas morning. Lots of pre Christmas secret squirrel crafting had been taking place in various locations for some weeks! I will post some pics at a later date. Both girls will have flown away tomorrow, how quickly the days flew by.
