The summer foxglove china got put away and some indoor plants grouped together in the porch for easy care.
Archie has done some growing in my absence...he is very fluffy! must be getting his winter coat on.
We went for a drive yesterday and I picked up this gorgeous 'Prize' for only $4!!!
...the illustrations are beautiful and in such good taste....they even feature a donkey!!
He looks like our donkey called Stan.
This dear old Clydesdale horse looks like he is loving the attention.
The garden is getting ready to go to bed for the winter....
The only crafting this week...sewing the buttons on the hot waterbottle cover I knitted ages ago...
If the sight of blue skies
fills you with joy,
if a blade of grass
springing up in the fields
has power to move you,
if the simplest things of nature
have a message that you understand,
rejoice, for your soul is alive.
Be happy!!!
Lovely! I love that pic of the children and the donkey from the old book, and I adore the pics of your own donkeys!

That book looks divine, an absolute gem of a find. Archie looks adorable and your garden is beautiful with the Autumnal colours. Hope everything goes well and as you say one day at a time is the best approach. I have been doing Reiki healing on someone with cancer and it has had very positive results on their energy levels and general demeanour. It is non-invasive and therefore an ideal alternative therapy. Looking forward to hearing from you and I shall send some healing thoughts across the ocean! x
